Rotherham Metro water polo consists of five squad’s, our training is specifically designed by our highly skilled and experienced Head Coach Norman Leighton.
Norman has coached Rotherham Metro Water Polo for over 25 years.
He also works as one of the development officers for GB talent water polo so is constantly in touch with the GB coaches and staff.
Rotherham metro water polo is proud to have been involved in producing players that have gone on to represent their country on international duty, both past and present.

We have a wonderful academy squad with a mixture of both boys and girls aged between 8 and 12. They train at St Annes pool in Rotherham on Wednesday nights between 6.30 and 8.00 and at Maltby swimming pool on Sundays between 5.30 and 7.30.
We aim to teach the following:-
