Hathersage Funday / BBQ 2015

 

On Saturday the 12 September 2015 Rotherham Metro Water Polo Club has organised a family funday / BBQ at Hathersage Lido .   

We are hiring Hathersage outdoor Heated Swimming pool again to play some friendly matches against Sheffield on 12th September 2015. It will start at 5.00pm and finish at 8.00pm

These are games set up purely for fun.

 

We are hiring the pool for 3 hrs. and have permission to hold a BBQ
You are also more than welcome to bring your own food and have a picnic.

Hathersage Funday / BBQ 2014

 

On Saturday the 2nd August 2014 Rotherham Metro Water Polo Club organised a family funday / BBQ at Hathersage Lido .   Members of Sheffield, Castleford and Leeds also joined us to spend the afternoon playing, eating and chatting. 

The whole thing was a total success with all the kids along with a few of the parents enjoying the pool in some friendly games to suit all ages and abilities.

 

 A special thank you to all that helped to make this happen, Nicki Merry and Michelle Crossley for selling the tickets, Charlie, Stephen Brunyee, James Newton and Norman for helping with the Water polo. Norman and Sam Swainson for helping  get the nets to the pool,  Sylvia Swainson, Kate Jackson and Ian Powell for helping with the BBQ and Catherine Swainson for helping get everything ready for it.

 

  A special thank you should go to Michelle for donating all the sweets and drinks for the event (Making the club £44.51).

 

I am very sorry if I have missed anyone but thank you all.

 

 

We managed to raise £156.26 for the club funds.
